Cool School

A Topper Day at Chapel Break Primary

Jack and slightly aquatic backdrop

What lovely children at this sweet little school in Norwich.
As there was quite a special wedding this year, the theme for this workshop was wartime weddings. Quite a difference to Kate and Wills! Did you know that confetti was banned during WWII? You were allowed to use the little paper discs from hole punching machines though.

They were all out of tiaras!

We all sang Run Rabbit but only Jack did Lili Marlene so beautifully

Now children, what does a wartime radio look like?

Wonder what eras will be most popular over the next few months - Victorian? Wartime? 50's or 60's? Perhaps a Time Travel of several at once? We'll be doing some decade hopping at the Welborne Festival....

Full Steam Ahead!

Jack building up a bit of steam!

So the Dad's Army Day at Bressingham turned out to be a thoroughly steaming affair.  Jack and Winnie met some very fine people in a vintage fashion. Some were splendidly dressed and some were familiar faces from television of a certain era...

Jack with the perfect gents, Michael Knowles and Jeffrey Holland - Hi-Di-Hot Mum?

An octopus or a Hitler strawberry?

Jack singing along with a delightful impromptu tinkle

Winnie in the amazing Royal carriage - lamplightly
